BETHANY BEACH BUILDER MARNIE OURSLER JOINS BOARD OF ADVISORS FOR
THE CENTER OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION AT DUKE UNIVERSITY’S FUQUA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
BETHANY BEACH, DE – Award-winning Bethany Beach builder Marnie Oursler has been named a member of the Board of Advisors for The Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. The center conducts world-class research on entrepreneurship and seeks to advance the scholarship, teaching, and practice of entrepreneurship and innovation.
“I am honored to join the Board of Advisors for the Center, and help expand the Center’s mission of innovation and entrepreneurship through my education and business,” said Oursler.
“We are delighted that Marnie will be joining our Board of Advisors,” said Jon Fjeld, Professor of Strategy and Executive Director of the Center. “She brings a unique and thoughtful perspective that will be a valuable addition, and her drive and creativity will be an inspiration to our students.”
Oursler is Founder and President of Marnie Custom Homes, located in Bethany Beach, Delaware. She is a graduate of the Cross Continent MBA program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Oursler will star in DIY Network’s forthcoming show Big Beach Builds, which follows Oursler as she updates old beach homes and gives them a new lease on life.
