The beach is my happy place, so this holiday season, I’m sharing a gift guide with products that support organizations helping to save and protect our oceans. With the purchase of these items, you can make an impact in addressing plastic pollution in overall beach, ocean and marine life conservation. I hope there’s something here for everyone on your list! Norton Point – The Swell II Sunglasses ($99): These sustainable sunglasses are made from ocean plastic and plant-based materials. The company’s passion and commitment to the ocean is at the core of their mission as they reinvest 5% of net profits into research, education and development efforts towards stemming the impact of ocean plastic.

United by Blue – Trail Weekender Bag ($68.00): This festive duffle bag is made from recycled polyester and genuine vegetable tanned leather details. It’s available in five colors. And for every product purchased, the company removes one pound of trash from oceans and waterways.

4Ocean – YETI Rambler 20 oz Tumbler ($30): 4Ocean collaborated with Yeti for this durable 20 oz tumbler. Every tumbler purchased funds the removal of one pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines.

Bureo – Jenga Ocean ($49.95): Jenga® Ocean™ & Bureo have teamed up to create the first board game made from 100% recycled fishing nets. Hand drawn and inspired by the sea, the artwork behind Jenga Ocean is the work of Lake Buckley—a surfer, designer, artist, and explorer. All packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable. All Bureo products are created using discarded fishing nets collected from coastal communities in Chile.

Oceana – Adopt a Dolphin ($55): Through Oceana’s, “Adopt a Dolphin” program, you’ll receive a cuddly stuffed animal plus a personalized adoption certificate. The donation helps protect these majestic creatures from dangerous fishing practices and pollution. All gifts go towards making our world’s oceans healthier and safer, for generations to come.

Sand Cloud – Turkish Towel Bundles ($59): Loomed in Turkey, these sand-resistant towels are 100% Turkish cotton. The bundle includes three 38 x 64” towels: Shoreline, Orca and Cape Cod styles. Sand Cloud donates 10% of all profits to preserve marine life.

Surfrider Foundation – Slightly Choppy Oceans of the Free Flag ($60): This 12 x 20” hand-made flag uses a weathered natural canvas with a royal blue hand-screen print. Each flag is topped with a natural twine and twill tape and stamped with the Oceans of the Free brand. All products are sustainable and environmentally friendly, with 100% of profits funding Surfrider Foundation’s mission to help achieve victories for the coast.

Pura Vida – For the Oceans Bracelet ($3): This adjustable, waterproof, wax-coated bracelet includes a gold-coated copper “P” Pura Vida charm—it’s a hot trending item for both kids and adults! Even better, 10% of net sales from this bracelet will be donated to Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS), an organization dedicated to protecting our oceans and planet for future generations.

Fair Trade Certified™ sewn with the company giving 1% back to the planet.

S’well – Clio 17oz Bottle ($35): This sustainable reusable bottle by S’well uses patent technology to keep beverages cold for up to 24 hours with vacuum-insulated, high-grade 18/8 stainless steel and a condensation free exterior. And by partnering with UNICEF, S’well has committed $1.4 million since 2017 to help provide clean and safe water to the world’s most vulnerable communities.
