Just one house off the beach in South Bethany, Take Five is a fun take on a modern beach house. We used tons of natural wood to keep it warm, then mixed in dark green cabinetry, colorful tile, fun wallpaper, and some really great lighting. It’s clean and modern, but definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously, just like a beach house should.
Design Highlights:
-The kitchen is a fun, modern take on coastal design. We mixed dark green cabinetry with natural wood and white finishes, then kept it light and bright with a white tile backsplash.
-One of our favorite kitchen details is the custom white oak waterfall table in place of a second island. The wood wraps down both ends, giving it a furniture-like look.
-The showstopping stairwell features custom natural wood millwork that wraps the floor-to-ceiling windows, finished with statement lighting visible from the street.
-Natural wood is everywhere in this house: walls, ceiling beams, staircase, built-ins, and cabinetry. We love it!
-And then there are the fun parts: turquoise shower tile, sunglass wallpaper in the elevator and beach prep room, sunshine wallpaper on the ceiling, and plenty of unexpected little details throughout.
