About the Award
The Regal Awards, presented annually by the Home Builders Association of Delaware, recognize the top talent in Delaware’s building industry. The Superintendent of the Year award honors an individual who demonstrates exceptional field leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. In 2026, Marnie Custom Homes swept all major ‘Of the Year’ categories, earning 16 total awards, the most in company history.
The Honoree
Matt Millman, Project Manager at Marnie Custom Homes, was named Superintendent of the Year at the 2026 Regal Awards, a recognition that reflects five years of extraordinary growth and an unmatched combination of technical depth and field leadership. A graduate of Washington College with a BA in Environmental Studies, Matt began his career as a geotechnical project manager, giving him rare expertise in evaluating subsurface conditions and anticipating construction challenges before they arise. Since joining MCH in 2021, Matt has built ten custom homes, including three oceanfront homes totaling over 46,000 square feet.
Matt was personally selected by Marnie Oursler to build her own family home, a decision that speaks to the extraordinary trust he has earned.

One of his notable achievements is completing MCH’s most ambitious build: a 6,200-square-foot waterfront home with a putting green, sauna, pickleball court, custom pool, and pool house.
