My favorite time of year—summer—is officially here! Nothing beats extended sunshine, warmer temps, vacations with family and friends and of course, plenty of outdoor living and entertainment. To truly transition into a vacation vibe, I want to start sharing where you can shop the furnishings and selections for many of our custom beach homes.
I’m starting with It’s About Time—an amazing five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home in Bethany Beach, DE with inviting spaces perfect for entertaining guests or some much-needed rest and relaxation away from it all. From sofas to coffee tables, paint palettes to throw pillows, I’m detailing everything needed to create your own beach oasis, no matter where your home may be located.
The owners opted for airy, beachy décor with a variety of white and gray tones. For overall interior design, I worked with the wife—who loves to decorate as a hobby and is considering that as a second career—and who also teamed up with two Bethesda-based interior designers, Marni Holifield and Amy Collins.

Siding is white cedar siding with Enviro Bleach stain.
Paint color for the turquoise front door is Benjamin Moore CSP695 Antique Glass.

Wall paint color is Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist OC-27; interior front door paint and trim paint is Benjamin Moore Steam AF-15; ceiling paint is Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White.
